Julie, responsible for follow-up and execution of the order, sends the contract to the client. Before noon, the client returns the signed contract. John now releases the order to the mill and Julie sends them the order-sheet.
At the shipping department, Tim, has received a copy of the order from Brazil for Angola. He goes through the details and prepares a shipping file. He contacts the shipping line to confirm the previously agreed freight rate and to adjust the estimated time of shipment.
Julie contacts an independent inspection company and briefs on cargo, producing steel mill, types of product, special requests, transport and loading details, etc. They will inspect the products to guarantee that they are of the quality requested and are packed and handled correctly during the shipping proces.
